International Council of Shopping Centers

This year the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), celebrates 50 years of operation and counts 70,000 members in 100 countries. It is the most renown trade association of Shopping Centers in the world. Its community consists of owners, shopping centers developers and managers, marketing specialists, investors and traders, retailers as well as academics and public officials. Its main goals are the supply of international knowledge and professional training through the organization of conventions, conferences and exhibitions, research conduction to identify the latest trends in the international and local retail, as well as the encouragement of ideas exchange and business practice among its members.

Acropole Charagionis is a member of ICSC since 1985. The company’s executives have been attending attend all the European and International conventions organized by ICSC since 1985. The executive President of Acropole Charagionis, Mr Theodoros N. Charagionis acted as a member of the judging committee of ICSC (1993-1999), which awards the best Shopping Center in Europe annually and served as the Committee Chairman from 1997 to 1999.

This year the ICSC National Committee of Greece has been founded aiming to promote the global organization’s role to a local level. Chairman of the Greek National Committee of ICSC is Mr Theodoros N. Charagionis.
